The coin is dedicated to the orienteering, which as a sport originated in
Scandinavia more than 100 years ago. The coin was issued on the occasion of
the World Orienteering Championship held in Kyiv in August 2007.

On the obverse against the glass background there is the Small National
Emblem of Ukraine, under which there is the inscription: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ / ÁÀÍÊ
ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (National Bank of Ukraine), marking of sportsman's route (on the
right), the conventionalized depiction of the compass (on the left), below
there is the coin face value - 2 ÃÐÈÂͲ (2 Hryvnias), as well as the
National Bank of Ukraine Mint logotype.

On the coin reverse
there is a running sportsman holding a map in his hand and the
inscription: ÑÏÎÐÒÈÂÍÅ (Sport) (horizontal) ÎвªÍÒÓÂÀÍÍß (Orienteering)
(vertical).
