The coin is dedicated to Sydir Holubovych (1873 – 1938), a Ukrainian
political and public figure who in October 1918 was elected to the ZUNR
Ukrainian National Council. Since January 1919 he was the head of the ZOUNR,
ZUNR State Secretariat.

On the coin obverse
in the centre there is depicted the small
National Emblem of Ukraine, under which there is 2008, the coin mintage
year, around the coin circumference there are the inscriptions: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ/ÁÀÍÊ/ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (National/ Bank /of Ukraine)
(above), 2/ÃÐÈÂͲ (2 Hryvnia) (below) and the NBU Mint logotype.

there is depicted a portrait of Sydir Holubovych, on its right - 1873/1938,
his years of life, on the left there are the inscriptions: ÇÓNÐ (ZUNR) and
semicircular inscription: ÑÈIJРÃÎËÓÁÎÂÈ× (Sydir Holubovych) (below).
