At 2 p.m. on 15 December, the NBU will host its third workshop Monetary Policy in Emerging Markets: Understanding the Causes and Consequences of a New Wave of Inflation.

The event will convene economists, experts, and policymakers from central banks, academia, think tanks, and international financial institutions from Ukraine, Italy, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, the United States, Canada, China, and other countries. The participants will discuss the main drivers of inflation dynamics, as well as the problems and constraints faced by EM central banks during the new period of high inflation.
