The Expert Advisory Board of the NBU Council is an advisory and consultancy body.

The main objective of the Expert Advisory Board is to provide expert advice to the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine, in particular concerning:

• conducting an expertise of the impact of monetary policy parameters on the social and economic development of Ukraine;
• identification of risks and threats to the economic growth of the state;
• preparation of recommendations for their elimination.

The Expert Advisory Board shall be formed of leading domestic and foreign academics in the field of economics and finance; state officials who worked in the spheres of state administration and local self-government; experienced banking market specialists. Participation in the activity of the Expert Advisory Board is voluntary.

Personal composition and staff number of the Expert Advisory Board shall be approved by the decision of the Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine. The Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine shall be co-head of the Expert Advisory Board.
