Our research lays the groundwork for optimal decision-making intended to achieve price and financial stability, as well as maintain economic development. We study how the Ukrainian economy and banking system work in today’s global environment.

The following priority areas for research at the NBU have been identified for the period up to 2025:

• monetary policy in wartime and in the period of post-war recovery of the economy
• ensuring financial stability during large and permanent shocks
• long-term challenges in the real sector of the economy following a prolonged war
• development of digital markets, products, and their regulation.
