The National Bank of Ukraine, jointly with the USAID Financial Sector Development Program (USAID/FINREP-II), is organizing a video competition entitled "SAVE!" to mark the celebration of Global Savings Day and the All-Ukrainian Financial Literacy Week. The video competition is held among Ukrainian high school students taking the Financial Literacy Course. The purpose of the competition is to deepen the understanding of the importance of savings for the achievement of your financial goals.

The competition will run from 31 October until  28 November 2014.

The student teams are to produce a video on one of the suggested topics:

•  Budgeting and savings;
• Expenditure controls;
• Savings and achievement of financial goals.           

The three winning teams will be selected based upon the results of the competition. The results of the competition will be announced on December 3, 2014. The awarding ceremony will take place in Kyiv in December 2014.

The winners will be awarded with the following prizes:

• First prize – Tablet PC (10”-11”);
• Second prize – Tablet PC (7”-8”);
• Third prize – E-book.

Following the awarding ceremony, the National Bank of Ukraine is to organize a tour of the Money Museum for the winning teams.
