On 23 May 2016, the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine issued Resolution No. 329   amending the Regulation on Identification of Bank-Related Parties.

 In accordance with these amendments, legal entities in which qualifying shareholders are international financial institutions shall not be regarded as  bank-related parties.

Additionally, under the amended resolution, the powers to identify bank-related parties shall be devolved from an NBU authorized officer to the Commission for Bank’s Related Party Identification.

NBU Board Resolution No. 329, dated 23 May 2016, shall enter into force on the day following its official publication.
