Pursuant to paragraph 2 of the Resolution of the  National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine  of 15 March 2017 On Application of Personal Special Economic and Other Restrictive Measures (Sanctions), on 21 March 2017, NBU Board issued Resolution No.25 On Amendments to NBU Board Resolution No. 654 of 1 October 2015.

The resolution is intended to enact sanctions imposed against banks included in the sanction list pursuant to the Resolution of the  National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. The sanctions ban these banks from performing any financial operations  that benefit banks’ related parties,  particularly parent banks.
