Roman Borysenko has been appointed Director of Personnel Department of the National Bank of Ukraine.
As Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriia Gontareva has repeatedly noted, the process of upgrading all the processes and reshaping the organizational structure of the regulator is to be carried out in a consistent manner, based on the successful international experience. These are the tasks that the newly appointed Director of Personnel Department faces.
"The management team of the National Bank of Ukraine is set to implement important transformation initiatives. For sure, optimization of the central bank's organizational structure, avoidance of duplication of functions, the upgrading of the employees' skills, and the transition to electronic workflow system will help enhance the operational efficiency of the central bank. I will devote maximum efforts to this task," said Roman Borysenko.
The new Director of Personnel Department graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Banking with a degree in banking. He is fluent in English.
Throughout his career, Roman Borysenko has been employed in the banking industry. From 2001 to 2014, he worked at Bank Aval. Roman Borysenko has worked his way up, from an economist to Deputy Director of the Department – Head of Human Resources Division.
Ihor Ivaniuk, the former Director of Personnel Department of the National Bank of Ukraine, has reached the retirement age.
