Despite russia’s continuous energy terrorism and massive missile attacks on Ukraine’s critical civilian infrastructure, the banking system continues its stable operation.
The National Bank of Ukraine is keeping in constant contact with the banks and taking appropriate measures to ensure the business-as-usual operation of the banking institutions.
All the NBU’s information systems continue to work in regular mode. The NBU’s System of Electronic Payments (SEP) remains operational, while Ukrainian banks remain connected to the SEP and able to process customer payments.
Payment cards are being serviced, cashless payments are operating as usual. The NBU ensures Ukrainians’ access to their funds, in particular through the operating ATMs and cash desks of the banks’ branches. According to a quick estimate, over 1,500 bank branches and more than 3,800 ATMs continue to operate.
The NBU is ready to provide banks with quick supplies of cash whenever necessary.
The information about the operating bank branches, their ATMs, and other services can be checked on the banks’ websites and social media pages. The information will receive timely updates.
