NBU Seeks Public Opinion on Requirements to Certified Electronic Trust Service Providers in the Banking System

NBU has developed and seeks public opinion on requirements to certified electronic trust service providers in the banking system included to the Trust List upon the submission of the Certification Authority.

The respective requirements are included in the NBU Board Draft Resolution On Approval of Requirements to Certified Electronic Trust Service Providers Included to the Trust List upon the Submission of the Certification Authority (hereinafter - Draft Resolution).

The Draft Resolution was developed to comply with the Law of Ukraine On Electronic Trust Services, which came into force on 7 November 2018.

The Draft Resolution defines the procedure for establishing certified electronic trust service providers in the Ukrainian banking system and certified electronic trust service providers for money transfer (payment systems’ participants), as well as organizational, technical and technological requirements binding to the providers and their separated registration points.

Please, be reminded, that under the Law of Ukraine On Electronic Trust Services, the NBU shall establish the Certification Authority to submit certified electronic trust service providers in the banking system of Ukraine and qualified electronic trust service  providers for money transfers (participants of payment systems) for their entering in the Trust List.

Suggestions and comments will be accepted by mail or email before 11 March 2019.
