NBU Updates Currency List for Official Hryvnia Exchange Rates

On 30 December 2022, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) will expunge the Croatian kuna from the currency list for official hryvnia exchange rates that are set daily The respective decision is associated with Croatia joining the euro area on 1 January 2023.

The official hryvnia exchange rate against the Croatian kuna set by the NBU on 29 December 2022 shall be in effect through 1 January 2023. The official hryvnia exchange rate set by the NBU for the currencies on the list on a daily basis shall not include kuna as of 2 January 2023.

The changes were introduced by NBU Order No.1029 On Amendments to NBU Order No. 260 dated 26 April 2022 dated 20 December 2022, which comes into effect on 30 December 2022.
