"The work of a number of banks, which was limited due to cyberattacks, is gradually being restored. The National Bank's electronic payment system (EPS) operates in a regular mode. The process of restoration of the work of affected banks in the EPS of the NBU continues, - commented the acting Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Yakiv Smolii. - All processing centers of the country are working. Payment cards transactions are being carried out in a regular mode".
Concerning the work of individual banks, Yakiv Smolii noted that Ukrgasbank restored the work of the branches in a limited mode and will provide customer services by accepting payment orders on paper for some time. Oschadbank restores its work in the whole and its connection to the EPS of the NBU.
The National Bank recommends the banks' clients to contact the call centers of banks or directly bank branches regarding the status of work and the possibilities of customer service in an individual bank.
