Description:
This coin celebrates an important global sporting event – the XXIV Olympic Winter Games, which will be held in the Chinese capital of Beijing in February 2022.
The Olympic Games are prestigious international competitions that are global events, it would be no exaggeration to say. They are organized by the International Olympic Committee for the Olympic Movement. Ukraine’s national team will compete in the following sports: biathlon, alpine skiing, speed skating, curling, cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, ski jumping, sledding, skeleton and bobsleigh, snowboarding, figure skating, freestyle skating, puck hockey, and short track speed skating.
Obverse: above is Ukraine’s small coat of arms, below which is the semicircular legend УКРАЇНА (Ukraine); in the center in a smooth circle is a pad-printed head of a dragon, which is the main character of many ancient legends, myths, fairy tales and one of the most famous symbols of China; in the center is also the legend 2022 stylized to look like a snake-like dragon covered with scales; to the left and right are the four pictograms symbolizing Olympic sports; beneath are the coin’s face value 10 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia.
Reverse: against the backdrop of a stylized outline of a sheet of paper is a composition symbolizing the country that hosts the XXIV Winter Olympic Games – China, which has an ancient culture, one element of which is paper; in the center is a map of Beijing with pictograms of a snowboarder and a figure skater; to the right of the composition is a fan – an integral part of traditional Chinese culture, the first records of fans date back to between the 4th and the 2nd centuries BCE. In addition, the reverse features a snowflake (beneath), and the logotype of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine (to the left), above which are a dragon’s head and flames – a symbol of the Olympic Games.

This set of collection banknotes celebrates the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. This set of commemorative banknotes in an envelope contains six commemorative banknotes of all denominations (UAH 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1,000). These banknotes, which belong to the ЯА series and were issued in 2021, bear the signature of NBU Governor Kyrylo Shevchenko.
The banknotes that comprise the set replicate the design, have the same size as, and incorporate all of the security features of, the 20-hryvnia banknote designed in 2018, the 50-hryvnia banknote designed in 2019, the 100-hryvnia banknote designed in 2014, the 200-hryvnia banknote designed in 2019, the 500-hryvnia banknote designed in 2015, and the 1,000 hryvnia-banknote designed in 2019. The front of the notes has the logotype “30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence” screen printed in OVMI on the watermark.

This medal celebrates the body that has been authorized by Ukraine to operate as a financial intelligence unit, tasked with counteracting money laundering and terrorist financing, and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. The Ukrainian system for combating money laundering and terrorist financing is being actively developed and improved, taking into account Ukraine’s international obligations.
Obverse: there is Ukraine’s small coat of arms, below which is the legend УКРАЇНА (Ukraine); in the center is a fragment of the facade of the State Financial Monitoring Service’s building; there are the following semicircular legends: ДЕРЖАВНА СЛУЖБА ФІНАНСОВОГО МОНІТОРИНГУ УКРАЇНИ (Ukraine’s State Financial Monitoring Service); under the building is the mint mark of the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works.
Reverse: against a smooth background are the emblem of the State Financial Monitoring Service and the following legends: 2022 (above) and ПІДРОЗДІЛ ФІНАНСОВОЇ РОЗВІДКИ УКРАЇНИ (financial intelligence unit) (semicircular, below).
