Over time, knowledge of this system spread to many cultures, becoming part of their own mythologies, religions, and astrology. This coin symbolizes the eternal connection between man and the universe, embodying the ancient tradition of studying the stars and the belief that they influence human destiny.

Obverse: against a smooth background, there are the zodiacal constellations in a circle, which is divided into twelve equal sectors; astrological signs; and the following legends: ОВЕН, ТЕЛЕЦЬ, БЛИЗНЮКИ, РАК, ЛЕВ, ДІВА, ТЕРЕЗИ, СКОРПІОН, СТРІЛЕЦЬ, КОЗЕРІГ, ВОДОЛІЙ, РИБИ (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces). The signs of the zodiac are arranged in a counterclockwise order in accordance with the movement of the earth’s axis, symbolizing the continuous movement of celestial bodies and the cyclical nature of time. In the center are the coin’s face value 10, the graphic symbol of the hryvnia, the legend УКРАЇНА (Ukraine), the coin’s issue year 2025, and Ukraine’s small coat of arms. Above and below this composition is a constellation.

Reverse: there is a picturesque Ukrainian village under a starry sky. A boy, sitting on a small hill, is enthusiastically watching the constellations, symbolizing dreaminess, the desire for knowledge, and a connection to one’s home. In the background is an evening landscape with houses, gardens and a windmill, creating an atmosphere of peace and harmony, reminiscent of warm childhood moments.

This coin celebrates the steadfastness of the Ukrainian military. It is a call for unity in all the fiercest spots of the conflict where Ukraine’s struggle continues. This coin symbolizes the unity, strength and courage of Ukrainian defenders who stand up in arms day and night to protect Ukraine’s freedom. Thanks to the courage of its defenders, Ukraine is overcoming all challenges, and faith in victory remains unshakable.

Obverse: against a smooth background are Ukrainian defenders, joining hands in a collective handshake in a circle of unity. This composition emphasizes cohesion before battle and readiness to defend the homeland. In the background, a topographic map of the area is schematically depicted with the lines of defense and directions of combat operations marked on it, visually resembling a trident. To the right are the legend УКРАЇНА (Ukraine), the coin’s face value 5, the graphic symbol of the hryvnia, the coin’s issue year 2025, and Ukraine’s small coat of arms. To the left, is the mint mark of the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works.

The reverse of the coin continues the theme of the obverse, depicting soldiers confidently marching forward. The upper part of the coin features the semicircle legend ТРИМАЙМО СТРІЙ (Let’s hold the line) and stylized images of a military helicopter, airplane and drone, which represent the strength and power of the Ukrainian army. Behind the soldiers is the steadfast rear, represented by the silhouettes of civilians who work, help and donate every day for the sake of a shared victory.

This coin celebrates an outstanding Ukrainian composer who left an indelible mark on Ukraine’s musical heritage. Shamo is the author of numerous symphonies, chamber works and songs. His music is full of warmth and patriotism, and his famous composition “How Can I Not Love You, My Kyiv!” became the official anthem of Kyiv in 2014.

Beneath, against a smooth background, are a music sheet with one of Shamo’s musical compositions, the coin’s face value 2, the graphic symbol of the hryvnia ?, and the coin’s issue year – 2025. Above, in the center are Ukraine’s small coat of arms and the legend УКРАЇНА (Ukraine) (the dots above the Ukrainian letter “ї” are made to look like hearts). Beneath, to the right, is the mint mark of the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works.

There is a stylized portrait of Shamo, depicted in the process of creating a new musical masterpiece. Below the portrait is a sheet of music symbolizing the composer’s musical heritage. To the left of the portrait is the vertical legend ІГОР / ШАМО (Ihor / Shamo) and the years of his birth and death 1925–1982. The composition of the reverse is completed by images and silhouettes of chestnut leaves, which emphasize the maestro’s inextricable connection with Kyiv.

Obverse: against a smooth background, is a stylized rose made to look like a heart (decorative element – local gilding); the rose has the word “love” inscribed in it in the most common languages of the world, emphasizing the universality and boundlessness of this feeling, which has no borders and language barriers; above the rose are Ukraine’s small coat of arms, the legend УКРАЇНА (with the dots above the letter “Ї” made to look like a heart), the coin’s face value 10, and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia; beneath is the legend 20 / 25.

Reverse: in the center, against a smooth background is a heart (decorative element – local gilding), from which waves spread out evenly. The stylized image symbolizes sincere and all-encompassing love, the vibrations of which reach the innermost depths of the soul.

This coin celebrates the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (FISU) – a leading component of Ukraine’s security and defense forces. The FISU provides information for strategic decision-making in the foreign policy, economic, military, scientific, technical, information, environmental and cybersecurity spheres, contributing to the strengthening of national security and sovereignty of the state. This commemorative coin emphasizes the importance of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and its contribution to the protection of the country’s national interests.

Obverse: above is Ukraine’s small coat of arms. Around the perimeter of the coin’s circle, the first three words of the name of the agency are encrypted in Morse code. These words are duplicated in the lower part of the coin: СЛУЖБА ЗОВНІШНЬОЇ РОЗВІДКИ УКРАЇНИ (Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine). The center of the coin depicts a cross, which is the main element of the new symbols and departmental awards of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. In the center of the cross is the trident (a state symbol used by Kyiv Rus Prince Volodymyr the Great), framed by the service’s motto in Latin: OMNIA VINCIT VERITAS (Truth Conquers All Things). The outlines of the continents of the globe around the center symbolize the spatial scope of the service’s intelligence activities. Beneath, to the left, are the mint mark of the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works, the coin’s face value 5, and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia. The legend УКРАЇНА (Ukraine) and the coin’s issue year 2025 are beneath to the right.

Reverse: there is a stylized trident, around which the words of a well-known Ukrainian political figure are encrypted in numbers. The encryption was based on the code of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army and a code word chosen by the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. From the day the commemorative coin is issued into circulation, the FISU will announce a competition among decryption specialists. Within a certain period of time, they will be able to decipher the encoded message. The text of the decrypted message will be published in the description of the coin six months after the date of its introduction into circulation.
