On 7 February 2012, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Volodymyr Krotiuk has been dismissed from office on the grounds of a resignation letter submitted by him.

Valerii Prokhorenko, Director of Financial Department of the National Bank of Ukraine, has been appointed as Acting Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine.
