Vladyslav Rashkovan appointed Acting Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine

On November 25, 2014, Vladyslav Rashkovan was appointed Acting Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine.

While serving as Acting Deputy Governor, Vladyslav Rashkovan will remain involved in efforts to implement the Strategic program to reform the banking system and run the NBU transformation project. His new functional responsibilities include central bank's   and the overall management of the Department of Finance and the Accounting Department.

Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriia Gontareva noted: "For the time of his work at the central bank, he has proved himself as a responsible and an efficient manager who is capable of coping with challenges facing the banking system and the National Bank of Ukraine. His performance was highly appreciated by the banking community and international financial institutions. For sure, Vladyslav Rashkovan will be able to implement changes in areas that fall within his new scope of responsibility".

Vladyslav Rashkovan was born on May 23, 1978. In 2000, Vladyslav Rashkovan graduated as an economist from the Odesa National Economic University, where he majored in Finance and Credit. He is fluent in English.

From 2000 to 2005, he worked as a lecturer and a researcher at the Department of Banking, the Odesa National Economic University, and studied abroad. From 2006 to 2013, Vladyslav Rashkovan was the Head of Macroeconomic Research Bureau, Director of Projects and Business Development Department, PJSC “UniCredit Bank” Management Board Member, and served as the project manager during the merge of HVB Bank Ukraine and UniCredit Bank. From 2013 to 2014, he worked as Director of UniCredit Bank Activity Maintenance and Organization Center. In April 2014, he took charge of the NBU Department for Banking System Strategy and Reform.

Since April 8, 2014, Vladyslav Rashkovan has been a Member of the National Bank of Ukraine Board.
