As of 1 October 2012, 23 international money transfer systems designed to allow individuals to transfer or receive money without an account and created by non-residents operated in the territory of Ukraine. Their participants were over 150 Ukrainian banks, Ukrainian Financial Group JSC, and the national postal operator UDPPZ.

In the third quarter of 2012, the amount of cross-border transfers received in Ukraine vial the international money transfer systems totaled USD 941 million (in the equivalent), which was 9 % more versus the same period of the previous year.

In the third quarter of 2012, the amount of cross-border transfers sent from Ukraine totaled USD 131 million (in the equivalent), which was 10% more as compared with the relevant period of 2011.
