The National Bank of Ukraine informs the public about setting up the Committee for the Prevention of Fraudulent Foreign Exchange Transactions in order to regulate foreign exchange transactions, avoid undue demand for foreign exchange, eliminate the opportunity for speculation in the foreign exchange market and conduct explanatory work among the population.

Mr. Yurii A. Horshkov, Advisor to the Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, has been appointed Head of the Committee for the Prevention of Fraudulent Foreign Exchange Transactions.
