On January 22, 2015, the National Bank of Ukraine Board approved Resolution No. 37 On Amendments to the Instruction on the Order of Regulation of Bank Activities in Ukraine  (hereinafter – Resolution No. 37).

The amended Instruction has specified certain provisions governing early redemption of subordinated debt, which occurs when an investor channels these funds to the bank's core capital.

The move will contribute to improving the quality of bank capital.
