Mykhailo Vidiakin has been appointed Head of the NBU Office for Banking System Strategy and Reform.
In 2003 Mykhailo Vidiakin graduated from the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where he majored in International Economic Relations and obtained a Master's degree in International Economic Relations. Throughout his career, he has worked in the financial sector and banking industry, where he has held various positions at UkrSibbank (BNP Paribas Group), OTP Bank, and OTP Factoring Ukraine (OTP Bank Group). Since October 2014, he has worked at the National Bank of Ukraine.
The main functions of the NBU Office for Banking System Strategy and Reform include devising, exercising coordination and control over the implementation of the strategic development plans for the National bank of Ukraine and the banking system, and monitoring of the projects run by the regulator.
