The Seventh International Commemorative Coins Contest “Coin Constellation-2013”

The Seventh International Commemorative Coins Contest “Coin Constellation-2013”, one of the most prestigious numismatic events, will take place in 2013.

The coins from 30 countries (over 270 commemorative coins and 28 coin series), which were put into circulation from 1 January till 31 December 2012, were entered in the Contest.

Traditionally, the Contest is held in nine main categories. The expert jury will select the winner in each category as well as second and third place winners by absentee ballot. The international jury is comprised of representatives from international numismatic societies, experts from world famous numismatic museums, specialized periodicals on coins from different countries. The jury’s decision is final and unappealable.

The winner in the tenth category "People’s Choice Award" will be determined by the public through online voting at www.Gold10.ru. Anybody who wants to take part in the online voting has to register on the site. The online voting is open from 1 May until 1 September 2013.The coin that gets the most votes will win the People’s Choice Award. The commemorative coins made of precious metals and the annual subscription for the year 2014 to the specialized magazine Gold Chervonets Magazine will be raffled off among the online voters. According to the Contest tradition, the visitors to the website www.Gold10.ru who will leave a lot of comments while choosing the best coin will also be awarded with prizes.

The results of the Contest "Coin Constellation-2013” will be announced at an awards ceremony that will take place on September 26, 2013 in Moscow at the Fourth International Coin Conference and Exhibition COINS-2013..

The online voting at www.Gold10.ru is underway. All the visitors to the site can vote for the coin they like most. The coin that gets the most votes will win the People’s Choice Award.

Active participation of Ukrainian citizens in the online voting will raise the chances of Ukrainian commemorative coins to win this award.
