The composition of the Monetary Policy Committee and its tentative meeting schedule for 2015, which were approved by the National bank of Ukraine, have been revised.

According to the schedule, the Committee meetings will be held once a month. Below is the schedule for the Committee meetings to be held in 2015

If required, the possibility is envisaged for the extraordinary meetings to be convened upon the instruction of the Chairperson of the Committee or at the initiative of the majority of its members.

The Committee is chaired by the Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriia Gontareva.

The Committee currently comprises the following members:

• Dmytro Sologub, Committee Deputy Chair– Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine;
• Oleksandr Pysaruk – First Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine;
• Vladyslav Rashkovan – Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine;
• Oleh Churii – Director of Open Market Operations;
• Serhii Nikolaichuk – Director of the Monetary Policy and Economic Analysis Department;
• Yurii Polovniov – Director of Statistics and Reporting Department;
• Vitalii Vavryshchuk– Director of Financial Stability Department;
• Volodymyr Lepushynskyi, Committee Secretary – Head of the Monetary Policy Office at the Monetary Policy and Economic Analysis Department.

Following the appointment of Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine in charge of the Market Operations, the Committee will expand to include as a member the aforementioned Deputy Governor.
