On April 14, 2015, Yuliia Myronenlko was appointed Head of the NBU Procurement Office of the Procurement and Logistics Department.

Yuliia Myronenlko has a long term experience in managing procurement activities in accordance with best European practices, including banking experience. Her job responsibilities will include building transparent procurement processes at the National Bank of Ukraine.

Commenting on her appointment, Yuliia Myronenko said: “The transparency of the procurement process, especially if undertaken by the public authorities, is critical to the Ukrainian society at the present stage of reforming all economic and political processes in the country. I have a great desire to channel my knowledge and experience into building effective and up-to-date procurement procedures based on the principles of transparency, openness, ethical business practices and equal opportunities for all participants in the procurement process. This approach leaves no room for manipulations, facilitates free access to information at all stages of the procurement process and above all it leads to a substantial saving of public funds”.

Yuliia Myronenko was born on October 7, 1969. In 1992, she graduated as systems engineer from the Kyiv Engineering and Construction institute, where she majored in Automated Control Systems. She holds a master's degree in Business Administration from the International Institute of Management (Kyiv, 2007). She is fluent in English.

Yuliia Myronenko launched her career as a laboratory assistant at the Central Research Institute of Communication. Later, she worked as an engineer at the Kyiv Data Processing Centre and Ukrtech Company.

From 1999 to 2008, Yuliia Myronenko held various positions at Kyivstar GSM JSC, where she gained first experience in procurement activities.

From 2008 to 2009, she served as Deputy Commercial Director at Global Logistics LLC. From 2010 to 2011, she worked as Deputy Head of the Procurement Division of the Administration Department at Swedbank PJSC. From 2011 to January 2015, she worked as Director of the Procurement Department of the Main Office for General Services and Procurement at PRAVEX-BANK PJSCCB.
