On April 15, 2015, the National Bank of Ukraine Board approved  Resolution No 259 On Amendments to Some NBU Regulations  (hereinafter – Resolution No. 259), whereby amending the following:

the Regulation on Disbursement of Stabilization Loans to the Ukrainian Banks by the National Bank of Ukraine approved by NBU Board Resolution No 327, dated July 13, 2010;  NBU Board Resolution No 602, dated September 25, 2014 On Measures to Ensure the Repayment of Loans Granted by the National Bank of Ukraine.

The amended Resolution No 259 has specified the eligibility requirements for collateral against loans extended by the National Bank of Ukraine and settled the issue of repayment of debt owed to the National Bank of Ukraine by the bank that has lost its status as a bridge bank that has been established  in accordance with paragraph 2, the sixteenth part of Article 42 of the Law of Ukraine On Household Deposit Guarantee System.

Resolution No 259 enters into force on the day following its official publication.
