Following the decision by Director of the General Department of Banking Supervision Alla Shulga to leave her job at the National Bank of Ukraine on April 15, 2015, the position she held has been removed from the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Alla Shulga has held the position of Director the General Department of Banking Supervision and has been on Board of the National Bank of Ukraine since April 2014. Her job responsibilities included the exercise of oversight over activities of banks and branch offices of foreign banks operating in Ukraine, the application of corrective measures against banks in compliance with applicable Ukrainian laws and monitoring the repayment of stabilization loans disbursed by the National Bank of Ukraine.

Today, during a meeting with bankers, Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriia Gontareva issued a commendation to Alla Shulga for her dedicated work and professional contribution to reforming the banking sector and presented her with the commemorative token "The National Bank of Ukraine".
