The Council of the National Bank of Ukraine approved the Consolidated Financial Statements of the National Bank of Ukraine for 2014 (hereinafter – the Consolidated Financial Statements) at its meeting held on April 23, 2015.

When considering the Consolidated Financial Statements, the NBU Council members took into account the Auditor's Report issued by Deloitte Ukraine that verifies financial statements of more than twenty central banks across the world. The independent auditor has pointed out that the Consolidated Financial Statements present fairly the financial position of the National Bank of Ukraine as at 31 December 2014, and its financial performance, its cash flows and changes in equity for the year then ended in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.

In accordance with Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine On the National Bank of Ukraine and Article 14 of the Law of Ukraine On Accounting and Financial Reporting in Ukraine, the annual consolidated financial statements with the accompanying auditor's report are published on the NBU's official website no later than April 30 of the year following the reporting year. The Consolidated Financial Statements, which are an integral part of the Annual Report, have previously been approved by the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine.
