The Board of the National Bank of Ukraine has undergone a reshuffle related to reformation of the organizational structure of the regulator with the aim of implementing the Strategic program for reforming the banking system and reorganizing the National Bank of Ukraine.

Thus, as provided by the Order of the National Bank of Ukraine of 22 June 2015 according to Article 16 of the Law of Ukraine On the National Bank of Ukraine, the Financial Controlling Department is determined as an organizational subdivision ensuring exercise of the principal function by the National Bank of Ukraine, and its head is ex officio the member of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Thus, starting from 22 June 2015,Oleh Strynzha, Director of the Financial Controlling Department, is a Member of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Please be reminded that according to the current legislation, the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine includes the Governor of the National Bank, his/her deputies and four heads of the organizational subdivisions of the National Bank of Ukraine ensuring exercise of the principal function by the National Bank of Ukraine.

After the Law of Ukraine On the National Bank of Ukraine comes into force, the number of Board members will be reduced to six persons.
