As part of the efforts to furnish the NBU’s official website with an extended data set and make statistics more user-friendly when used for analytical purposes, the “Macroeconomic indicators” page of the “Statistics” section has been updated.

In particular, a data set has been extended, the data layout has been adjusted and the format in   which real- and financial sector indicators are presented has been updated.

With a view to making data search more convenient, time series of data are grouped into four categories: prices, economic activity, labor market and social statistics, and public finances.

In addition, with the aim of making statistics user-friendly, statistical data have been extended with new indicators: data broken down by regions, classifications, types of economic activity, and commodity groups.  Data have also been re-arranged on the basis of monthly, quarterly and annual data frequency.

Finally, there are cross-references to the relevant statistical indicators embedded in each file.

The data provided by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine and official reports issued by  the State Treasury Service of Ukraine have been used  in the preparation of statistical information.
