In accordance with the Law of Ukraine On the National Bank of Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine has elaborated a draft Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine On Approval of the Rules for organization of the physical security of the premises of Ukraine’s non-banking financial institutions performing certain banking operations.

The Draft Resolution is intended to secure the ability of non-banking financial institutions to protect the health and life of their employees and ensure the safe custody of cash and other valuables. 

As provided by the Draft Resolution, non-banking financial institutions shall take measures to bring in a stepwise manner the technical conditions organization of the physical security of the premises into conformity with the Rules.

The key results of the implementation of the regulation on organization of the physical security of the premises of Ukraine’s non-banking financial institutions are as follows:

• the use of certified structures;
• the deployment of banking equipment to enhance the physical security of the premises of Ukraine’s non-banking financial institutions.
