On November 26, 2015, the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine issued Resolution No. 830  amending the Regulation On Procedure of Allocation and Use by Ukrainian Banks of Provisions against Potential Losses on Bank Asset-Side Operations approved by NBU Board Resolution No. 23, dated January 25, 2012.

The regulation has been amended in line with changes to the NBU regulations requiring banks to record provisions against asset-side operations in accordance with the IFRS.

These amendments are, in essence, meant to align Regulation No. 23 with the accounting regulations by incorporating the requirement for banks to assess the credit risk using the coefficients set out hereby and used to determine the present value of the future cash flows from assets.
