Mr. Roman V. Yakovlev has been appointed as Director of General Department of Banking Supervision of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Mr. Roman V. Yakovlev joined the National Bank of Ukraine in 1995. In 1999 – 2011, he headed the division, and, later, the Credit and Position Risk Department, Dongorbank PJSC. Since 2011, he has held the position of Deputy Director of General Department – Director of Bank Inspection Department of the NBU General Department of Banking Supervision.

Since 25 January 2013, Mr. Roman V. Yakovlev has served as Director of General Department of Banking Supervision of the National Bank of Ukraine and as a member of the National Bank of Ukraine Board.
