Ukrainian banks are required  to submit, in the prescribed form, a notification on the opening and closing of accounts for political parties/local organizations of political parties  to the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine and the National Anti-Corruption Agency.

This requirement is mandated by NBU Board Resolution No. 357 dated 26 July 2016 On the Establishment of the Procedure for Submission by Banks of Notifications  on the Opening and Closing of Accounts for Political Parties/Local Organizations of Political Parties to the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine and the National Anti-Corruption Agency (hereinafter – Resolution No. 357).

Resolution No. 357 has been passed to implement the requirements of Article 14 of the Law of Ukraine On Political Parties in Ukraine.

The resolution shall come into effect on 28 July 2016.
