The National Bank of Ukraine Joins the National System for Processing Requests Addressed to the Executive Authorities

The National Bank of Ukraine has backed the government's initiative to ensure the maintenance of permanent lines of communication between the state and the public by joining the National System for Processing Requests Addressed to the Executive Authorities. The public institution "Government contact center” acts as a coordinator of this system.

"The interaction between the NBU and the Government contact center helps establish a single e-platform for communications to respond promptly to the public's needs: consideration and addressing of the issues raised in   requests from citizens, legal entities, and public institutions, the provision of explanations and additional information,” said Head of the NBU Division for  Control and  Handling of Citizens’ Requests Ms Iryna Hapon.  

Ms Hapon said that users may have access to   the Government contact center around the clock by calling the Hotline 15-45 via landline or mobile or sending an email to the Center’s website.

In its turn, upon the receipt and handling of requests, which falls within the scope of responsibility of the NBU, operators of the Government contact center will send requests in e-format to the NBU to formulate and provide a response. 

In addition, Ms Hapon said that in early December 2016 the NBU will hold a seminar for employees of the Government contact center to make it easier to process requests related to the activities of the central bank.

“Employees of the NBU Banking Supervision Department, Legal Department and the Property and Procurement Department will brief seminar participants on the main lines of activities, provide insight into regulatory documents and issues raised by citizens in their requests.

The main aim of the Government contact center is to improve the efficiency of public administration, enhance the quality of decision making on important issues of social and economic life, taking into account the public opinion, enhance control over requests processing and promptness of the requests handling process.
