The National Bank of Ukraine and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two central banks.
The main objective of the Memorandum of Understanding is to deepen ties and strengthen cooperation between the central banks of Ukraine and Turkey. This move will make it possible to establish information-sharing relationships through consultations and experience sharing at expert level, as well as the provision of technical assistance and the organization of research events.
The Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation entered into force on 1 June 2017 and will remain in force for three years. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by NBU Acting Governor Yakiv Smolii and Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Murat Çetinkaya
