In order to increase children’s knowledge about the National Bank of Ukraine, its functions and tasks, as well as to uncover children’s creative abilities, the National Bank of Ukraine announces the Second All-Ukrainian Children’s Drawing Contest entitled “Tomorrow’s National Bank” (hereinafter referred to as the Contest).
All children aged 9-15 who wish to enter the Contest are required to submit their drawings together with the Application Form in an envelope marked “Children’s drawing contest” to the regional branches of the National Bank of Ukraine (Addresses of the regional branches of the National Bank of Ukraine). The Contest is open to entrants from 19 March until 22 April 2013.
The authorized Jury appointed at each regional branch of the National Bank of Ukraine will select and announce the winners of the first phase of the Contest. The awards ceremony will take place on 25 April 2012. The winners of the first phase are eligible to enter the second phase of the Contest.
At the second phase of the Contest, which will be held at the National Bank of Ukraine (Kyiv, 9 Instytutska Str.), the authorized Jury appointed at the National Bank of Ukraine will select the three winners (first place, second place and third place winners) among the winners of the first phase of the Contest.
Public announcement of the winners of the Contest and awards ceremony will take place at the headquarters of the National Bank of Ukraine (Kyiv, 9 Instytutska Str.) as part of marking the Day of Bank Employees.
The works of award-winning authors and best works of contestants will go on display at the exhibition that will be staged at the headquarters of the National Bank of Ukraine and will form part of a touring exhibition. The works of contestants will be included in the album and 2014 calendar.
Requirements to entries:
Only individual entries are permitted – no group entries will be considered.
Entrants are free to choose style and format of their works. Entries should reflect the overall theme of the Contest.
All works entered for the Contest must be created using pencil drawing technique or watercolor technique and submitted on an A3 sheet of paper.
Each contest entry should be marked on the reverse side as follows: family name and first name of the child, postal address, grade and educational institution (school), family name(s) and first name(s) of the parents or duly authorized supervisor(s) with contact telephone numbers.
Each entrant is required to submit his or her entry together with his or her color photo (an electronic version) and resume.
Please note that contest entries will not be returned to their authors.
By entering the Contest, the entrant, his or her parents or duly authorized supervisor(s) have given their full consent to publication of the entry and undertaken not to pursue copyright infringement claims.
