The National Bank of Ukraine Hands over Pivdenni Zori Recreation Center under the Jurisdiiction of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine

The National Bank of Ukraine moves ahead with its plans to get rid of the non-core assets by  handing over Pivdenni Zori recreation center located in the village of Zatoka in Odesa Oblast to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the village of Zatoka.

“The NBU continues to focus on the core functions intrinsic to the central bank/ The decision to remove Pivdenni Zori recreation center from the jurisdiction of the NBU, which is approved by NBU Board Decision, is part of these efforts. I am confident that by getting rid of the non-core assets the NBU will set an example to follow by other public authorities,” said Director of the NBU Property and Procurement Department Yaroslav Ilnitskyi. We always delighted to help Ukrainian military servicemen and hope that ATO-participants and their nearest and dearest benefit from the opportunity to spend holidays and repair health at this recreation center.

Yesterday the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak was hosted on a tour of the recreation center by representatives of the central bank.

Mr Poltorak thanked the NBU staff for the transfer of this recreation center under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine and underlined that ATO-participants and their families would be able to spend holidays at the Black sea shore. The Defense Minister instructed the ministry officials to establish a commission to resolve organizational issues to put this recreation center into operation.
