The National Bank of Ukraine Adopts a Decision to Revoke the Banking License and Liquidate Finbank PJSC

On 27 April 2017, the National Bank of Ukraine, upon the proposal of the Deposit Guarantee Fund,  issued Decision No. 275-D on Withdrawal of the Banking License and Liquidation of Finbank PJSC.    

On 7 April 2017, pursuant to Article 76 of the Law of Ukraine On Banks and Banking, the NBU declared Finbank PJSC insolvent.

According to information provided by the Deposit Guarantee Fund (the DGF), 99% of all Finbank PJSC’s depositors will be reimbursed in full, as amounts held in their deposit accounts fall within the insured deposit amount of UAH 200,000, which is covered by the DGF.    Customers with larger deposits (above the insured deposit amount) will be reimbursed up to the compensation limit guaranteed by the Fund.
