On 23 February 2017, the National Bank of Ukraine, upon the proposal of the Deposit Guarantee Fund, issued Decision No.95-D on the withdrawal of the banking license and liquidation of PLATINUM BANK PJSC.
On 10 January 2017, pursuant to Article 76 of the Law of Ukraine On Banks and Banking, the NBU declared PLATINUM BANK PJSC insolvent.
As reported by the NBU, 97% ( of all the depositors of PLATINUM BANK PJSC will be reimbursed in full, as amounts held in their deposit accounts fall within the insured deposit amount of UAH 200,000, which is covered by the Deposit Guarantee.
