Pursuant to Article 15 of the Law of Ukraine On the National Bank of Ukraine, Article 77 of the Law of Ukraine On Banks and Banking, Article 44 of the Law of Ukraine On Households Deposit Guarantee System, at the request of the Deposit Guarantee Fund, the NBU has made Decision No. 495 dated 6 October 2022 to revoke the banking license of and liquidate BANK SICH JSC as of 10 October 2022.
As previously reported, the NBU Board made a decision, on 9 August 2022, to declare BANK SICH JSC insolvent forfailure to fulfill its liabilities to the NBU within the period prescribed in the refinancing loan agreement due to the lack of funding.
