Today, Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Yakiv Smolii and audit partners from Deloitte in Ukraine, Yevhen Zanoza and Natalia Samoilova, signed Central Bank Consolidated Financial Statements for 2017.
The 2017 Consolidated Financial Statements have been given a positive opinion from an independent auditor that performed audit.
According to Deloitte`s opinion, the NBU's consolidated financial statements reliably and in all material respects reflect the financial standing of the regulator as of the end of 31 December 2017, as well as results of its activity, cash flows and changes in equity under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
NBU Governor Yakiv Smolii thanked the audit firm for its high professionalism and quality work. He also reminded that, under Ukrainian legislation, the annual consolidated financial statements, together with the audit report, shall be approved by NBU Council not later than 30 April 2018. After approval, this document will be published on the official NBU web-site.
