Please be informed that NBU Board Resolution No. 118 On Approval of Changes in the Tariffs on Services (Operations) Provided (Performed) by the National Bank of Ukraine in the Role of Payment Organization, Central Router and Settlement and Clearing Center, and Settlement Bank of the National Payment System ‘Ukrainian Payment Area’ (PROSTIR) dated 7 November 2018 (hereinafter – the Resolution) amends NBU Board Resolution No. 53 On Amendments to Certain Regulatory Documents of the National Bank of Ukraine dated 15 June 2017.
The Resolution provides for the following:
- to improve the NBU’s tariff policy and increase the tariffs for certain services of the NPS PROSTIR that have not been reviewed since 2012
- to exclude certain services that became outdated due to the ceased commercial operation of the National System of Mass Electronic Payments
- aiming to implement innovative projects related to the progress in cashless settlements, the NPS PROSTIR introduces a new service feature, namely Debit operations with the electronic money of the NPS PROSTIR (not processed by the Router) via user account, with setting a tariff of 0.02% of the total volume of such operations with electronic money.
The Resolution provides for the above amendments to take effect on 7 December 2018.
