On 19 December 2022, the National Bank of Ukraine is issuing into circulation 100-hryvnia banknotes designed in 2014 bearing the signature of NBU Governor Andriy Pyshnyy and the banknotes’ issue year.
The new banknotes are being introduced to replace the worn out, damaged, and withdrawn banknotes of this denomination, within the planned 2022 issue.
At the same time, the banks will continue to accept from and distribute to their customers, without any restrictions, 100-hryvnia banknotes issued in previous years.
As previously reported, under Ukrainian law, the banknotes must bear the signature of the incumbent NBU Governor.
