On May 18-19, 2017, the National Bank of Ukraine together with the National Bank of Poland held an annual research conference "The Role of the Central Bank in Economic Development".

The key event of the conference was a speech by John Taylor from the Stanford University on "Central Bank Models: Lessons from the Past and Ideas for the Future".
