Description:
This roll celebrates an integral part of Ukraine defined by the Constitution of Ukraine – Zaporizhzhia oblast. The fact of the territory of Zaporizhzhia oblast belonging to Ukraine is confirmed by international law and recognized by the global community. This coin continues the series of circulation commemorative coins dedicated to Ukraine’s administrative divisions, which, in the face of armed aggression, confirm the importance of national unity and cohesion in the struggle for freedom and independence.
Each roll is packaged in souvenir paper featuring the following legends: БАНКНОТНО-МОНЕТНИЙ ДВІР НБУ, ОБІГОВА ПАМ’ЯТНА МОНЕТА, МИ СИЛЬНІ. МИ РАЗОМ. ЗАПОРІЗЬКА ОБЛАСТЬ, 25 ШТУК (the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works; circulation commemorative coin; We Are Strong. We Are United. Zaporizhzhia Oblast; and 25 units), the face value of the roll – 250, the graphic symbol of the hryvnia, the mint mark of the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works; a Zaporozhian Sich fortress, the slopes of the Dnipro River, and Cossack sabers.
Obverse: above is Ukraine’s small state coat-of-arms; in the center, surrounded by an old Rus ornament is the following semicircular legend: УКРАЇНА / 10 / ГРИВЕНЬ (Ukraine / 10 / hryvnias); against the backdrop of the ornament are the coins’ issue year – 2026 (beneath) and the mint mark of the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works (to the right).
Reverse: against a smooth background, is a stylized map of Ukraine with clearly defined administrative borders. On the map, Zaporizhzhia oblast is depicted on a matte background that contrasts with the rest of the image, emphasizing that Zaporizhzhia oblast belongs to the unified state space. Above is the circular legend: ЗАПОРІЗЬКА ОБЛАСТЬ (Zaporizhzhia Oblast); beneath is the slogan of the series: МИ СИЛЬНІ. МИ РАЗОМ (We Are Strong. We Are United).
