NBU Brings Regulation On Its Credit Register in Line with New Requirements to Banks’ Statistical Reporting

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) is planning to bring the provisions of the Regulation on the NBU’s Credit Register in line with the Rules for statistical reports to be submitted to the NBU approved by NBU Board Resolution No. 120 dated 13 November 2018.

The relevant NBU Draft Resolution On Amendments to Regulation On the Credit Register of the National Bank of Ukraine (hereinafter – the Draft Resolution) has been published on the NBU’s website for public discussion.

The draft resolution provides for the removal of a reference to the statistical reporting form No. 601 Report on bank’s credit operations with a debtor who is either an individual or a legal entity, which is submitted according to the Statistical Reporting Rules approved by NBU Board Resolution No. 129 dated 1 March 2016.

This document has been superseded by Resolution No. 120, thus, all NBU regulations, including the Regulation on the NBU’s Credit Register, that refer to Resolution No. 129 require amendments.

The regulatory impact analysis of the Draft Resolution is available here.

Please send your comments and suggestions on the Draft Resolution to the NBU by mail or email before 19 December 2018.
