On May 31 - June 1, 2018, the National Bank of Ukraine together with the National Bank of Poland held an annual research conference "Interaction of Fiscal and Monetary Policies".

The key event of the conference was a speech by Alan Auerbach from the University of California, Berkeley on "Inequality, Aging and Mobility of Capital: Implications for Fiscal and Monetary Policy".
