On 7 August 2020, Serhii Karpenko completes his duties as director of the NBU Strategy and Reforming Department.
Accordingly, on 10 August 2020 the NBU announces a start of the competitive selection process for the open position of Strategy and Reforming Director.
This position is responsible for:
- developing strategic analysis and planning in the NBU,
- developing, updating and monitoring of the NBU Strategy and other strategic documents,
- developing project management system, business-analysis and process management system in the NBU.
The detailed information on requirements to applicant will be published at the NBU site on 10 August.
Serhii Karpenko joined the NBU in December 2018. He was in charge of the department that focused on the implementation of key changes and strategic programs and on the development of the functions of strategic analysis, planning, and business analysis.
These are the key NBU achievements of this function during his time in office:
- The action plans for implementation of the NBU Strategy during the year have been developed.
- Strategy of Ukrainian Financial Sector Development until 2025 has been developed and signed by the financial sector regulators.
– The Fintech Development Strategy in Ukraine for 2025 has been drawn-up and approved.
- The foundation for transfer to the NBU of mandate for protecting the rights of financial services consumers and promotion of financial literacy has been created.
