On 24 September 2020, Liubov Pysana was appointed the Personnel Department Director, based on the results of an open selection process to fill the position.
Among other responsibilities, the newly-appointed director of the Personnel Department will be in charge of developing, updating, and implementing the NBU’s HR strategy and staff management policy.
The Personnel Department is directly subordinated to NBU Governor Kyrylo Shevchenko.
"In my opinion, thanks to her solid experience and in-depth knowledge of HR management specifics in a central bank, the new department head can maintain and improve our HR function and keep and augment the highly qualified team of professionals in the NBU," noted NBU Governor Kyrylo Shevchenko.
Liubov Pysana has a long-term experience in the sphere of HR management and has a perfect knowledge of payroll management details.
Before being appointed to the new role, she had worked for many years in the position of the Head of Office for Personnel Assessment and Engagement, NBU Personnel Department.
Ms Pysana has been working at the NBU since it was founded, including more than 20 years in the Personnel Department.
Liubov Pysana has a complete higher education. She graduated from Lviv Accounting and Credit College (where she obtained the qualification of Accountant), and later received a degree in Banking from Kyiv National Economic University.
