The NBU reports on the status of the special account to assist the Army and the special account of the Ministry of Social Policy for humanitarian needs.
Special Account to help the Army
As of 7 March 2022, an equivalent of more than UAH 10.2 billion has been transferred to the special account the NBU opened to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Money has been coming in from people and businesses in Ukraine and from all over the international community (including the U.S., the UK, Poland, Germany, Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic, China, France, Canada, and many other countries).
Over UAH 2.9 billion of that amount has been received from abroad in foreign currencies (U.S. dollar, euro, GB pound, Canadian dollar, Chinese renminbi, Japanese yen, Swiss franc, Polish zloty, Australian dollar).
The NBU has already allocated over UAH 7.3 billion for the needs of the military, in particular:
UAH 950 million for the National Guard of Ukraine (UAH 450 million on 26 February 2022, UAH 500 million on 6 March 2022)
UAH 1,650 million for the National Police of Ukraine (UAH 150 million on 28 February 2022, UAH 700 million on 3 March 2022, UAH 800 million on 6 March 2022)
UAH 4,285.8 million for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (UAH 182,3 million on 28 February 2022; UAH 675 million on 1 March 2022; UAH 168 million on 1 March 2022, UAH 1,999.3 million on 2 March 2022; UAH 920 million on 4 March 2022; UAH 341.2 million on 5 March 2022)
UAH 420 million for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (on 3 March 2022).
Now, the funds on the special account amount to UAH 2.9 billion.

Special Findrising Account for Humanitarian Purposes
As of 7 March 2022, an equivalent of more than UAH 63.2 million has been transferred to the special account of the Ministry of Social Policy the NBU opened for humanitarian aid.
Now, the funds on the account of the Ministry of Social Policy amount to UAH 63.2 million.
The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine is both the recipient and administrator of the funds credited to the account opened by the NBU for humanitarian aid from Ukraine and abroad.
